We have learned Waiata, used Rakau, enjoyed lots of craft activities, investigated our mihi, visited Ngati Moki, our local Marae and of course we enjoy sharing kai together as a group.
We have learned about Maori legends and re-enacted these during school assembly.
Every term we have a different focus, and learn about so many ideas. We enjoy spending the day together and forming new friendships!
We have had fun weaving with coloured ribbon. Some of us put our names into our patterns. Ka pai te raranga.
In term 2 we celebrated together by completing a scavenger hunt, which the tamariki had to translate from Maori into English.
