National Standards

National Standards have been designed to provide benchmarks for student achievement at specific times during a child's primary school education. At Prebbleton School we report on children's progress based on the National Standards on the following time frame:
  •  After 40 weeks of school   (1 year)
  • After 80 weeks of school (2 years)
  • After 120 weeks of school (3 years)
  • At the end of Year 4
  • At the end of Year 5
  • At the end of Year 6
  • At the end of Year 7
  •  At the end of Year 8
The first three National Standards based reports are completed on the anniversary of your child's start at school (or within that school term).

The National Standards based reports for Years 4 - 8 are completed for all children at the end of the academic year.

Useful pamphlets about National Standards expectations and ways you can support your child’s progress can be downloaded in the resources section at the bottom of the page.
